On Sunday, September 13, I will be participating with All Out Adventures in the 18th Annual Kayak-a-thon. I'll be part of a 100-person flotilla kayaking, paddle boarding, and canoeing down the Connecticut River to raise funds and awareness for access to the great outdoors for people with disabilities and their loved ones.
AOA's programs cultivate joy, build community, provide opportunities for personal empowerment, and promote accessto the great outdoors for all.
AOA offers 230+ inclusive outdoor recreation programs to over 4,000 participants each year for no or very low cost. It actually costs AOA $100 per participant per program. Fundraising from the Kayak-a-thon will ensure continued access to the great outdoors for all.
